Where Next?/No Angel

Output: Series of 3 short films

The focus of the project was to work with a group of Salford residents to create a series of short films to be broadcast online. The ideas, dialogue and content of the films came directly from the project participants themselves.

The project took place in partnership with STASH – a Salford based structured day programme for adults with substance misuse problems – and with support from Salford City Council Arts Team and Salford DAAT (Drug and Alcohol Action Team).

It was decided by the group to create a three part drama called ‘No Angel’ that would centre around a character named Lucy and would follow her and her family interacting and dealing with their day to day lives in Salford.

The project concluded in a screening of the films at the Salford Arts Theatre on 6th March 2008.
